Desde que Messenger se lanz\u00f3 en 2011, hemos apostado firmemente por el producto para dar a la gente una forma m\u00e1s r\u00e1pida y expresiva de comunicarse.<\/p>\n<p>En la actualidad, el n\u00famero de usuarios mensual supera los 500\u00a0millones, y seguimos m\u00e1s volcados que nunca en ofrecer el mejor servicio de mensajer\u00eda posible.<\/p>\n<p>Messenger fue la primera aplicaci\u00f3n de Facebook independiente. A diferencia del resto de nuestras aplicaciones principales, solo sirve para una cosa: enviar mensajes que llegan al destinatario al instante. Es tan r\u00e1pida como los mensajes de texto, pero mucho menos b\u00e1sica, ya que permite enviar stickers o v\u00eddeos, hacer selfies, chatear con grupos y hacer llamadas gratuitas. Adem\u00e1s, su fiabilidad y velocidad han aumentado porque la aplicaci\u00f3n se actualiza cada dos semanas, lo que hace que evolucione y mejore constantemente.<\/p>\n<p>Estamos muy orgullosos de haber batido este r\u00e9cord, pero tambi\u00e9n somos conscientes de que queda mucho por hacer.
